According to the outlet, the movie was nixed in the midst of the Warner Bros. and Discovery merger, with Discovery boss David Zaslav cutting approximately $3 billion in costs at the newly merged company.

The Wonder Twins movie was reportedly going to cost about $75 million.

KJ and Isabel would have starred as Zan and Jayna, who are from the planet Exxor and are being “trained” by iconic DC Superheroes.

In one of the late 1970s comic books, it was revealed that the twins had been orphaned during a plague and adopted by the alien Exorians. After learning that villain Grax is set to destroy Earth, they travel there to warn the Justice League.
