Katharine McPhee Sang the National Anthem at Preakness This Weekend!

Katharine McPhee took a trip to Maryland this past weekend for a special reason!

The 38-year-old singer and actress sang the National Anthem during the Preakness 147 event on Saturday (May 21) at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kat had a show with husband David Foster in New Jersey the night before and a show in Pennsylvania that evening, so it was just a quick day trip to Maryland.

At the horse race, Kat met up with Gayle King.

Kat and David wrapped their An Intimate Evening with David Foster tour this weekend and now they’re in New York City preparing for a week of intimate shows at the Cafe Carlyle. The full run is already sold out!
