'The Good Fight' to End with Season 6 at Paramount+

The Good Fight is coming to an end.

“We’ve loved fighting The Good Fight these last six seasons. To be able to tell stories about an upside-down world in real time has been a gift. And to have worked with these talented, brilliant, generous actors, writers and crew has been a blessing,” creators/showrunners Robert and Michelle King said in a joint statement Friday (May 27). “Our hope-slash-scheme is to find ways to work with all of them again in the future.”

The pair added that they felt season sixth would be a natural conclusion for the show, which they feared would become repetitive had it continued on. They also said that there were enough memorable characters on the show to justify its own spinoff, though they noted that there currently aren’t any in development.

The final season of the series will debut on Thursday, Sept. 8 on Paramount+.
