Britney Spears was supposed to make her Met Gala debut this year!

On Saturday (May 28), the 40-year-old popstar revealed that she was planning on attending the 2022 Met Gala earlier this month, but instead decided to skip it.

Britney took to her Instagram to share a video of herself in her living room posing in a red dress covered with black hearts.

In the caption, Britney explained why she didn’t go to the Met Gala, writing, “I was gonna go to Met Gala but instead I got in the tub with my dog and put pjs on 🐶😂 !!! I hate flying 🤷🏼‍♀️🌹🌹 !!!”
