Kaley Cuoco & Zosia Mamet Explain the Meaning Behind Their Matching Friendship Tattoos

Kaley Cuoco and Zosia Mamet are besties on and off-screen.

The two actresses, who star opposite each other in HBO Max‘s hit series Flight Attendant, spoke with E! News‘ Daily Pop about their matching ink and revealed that the tattoos were actually inspired by something that happened the first time they met.

The pair bonded immediately when they met at the chemistry read for The Flight Attendant and Kaley felt so comfortable around her possible new co-star that she gave Zosia a “boop” on the nose.

“It became a thing, and then we did it all the time,” Kaley explained. They went on to get the word “boop” tattooed on their arms in April 2022.

The actress added that they may have started a trend, as she’d noticed other people had started booping each other. “Now people are booping each other. I think we’re causing a major stir,” she joked.

“You know how ‘Fetch’ didn’t happen?” Zosia added, referencing the infamous quote from Mean Girls. “‘Boop’ is happening.”

Kaley, 36, also revealed that she leaned on Zosia, 34, for support as they filmed the most recent season of their show together. At the time, the Big Bang Theory alum had filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Karl Cook.

“We lived together towards the end of season two, and there were days when I didn’t think I could even go to work,” she said. “On [Zosia's] days off, she would come to work and have lunch with me in my trailer. And I was like, ‘It’s your day off.’ She’s like, ‘No, no, I’m coming.’ Those little things are a big deal.”
