John Stamos Reveals the Last Text Bob Saget Sent Him Was About John Mayer

John Stamos is looking back at his final text exchange with Bob Saget.

The 58-year-old Full House alum shared the message in a new clip from Netflix’s Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute, in which some of the late comedian’s close friends came together to remember their time with him.

“I’m going to read my last text from Bob,” John began. “It said, ‘I love you so much. I will say that God gave me the brother that I wanted.’”

John said he responded, “Well, you have a lot of ‘God-given brothers,’ but I’m first, right?”

“[John] Mayer’s an amazing friend, but he’s more fair-weather. You are always there, so you’re number one,” Bob replied.

The “New Light” singer, who was also in attendance for the special, was seen laughing and clapping at the comment. See the full trailer down below.

In January 2022, it was reported that Bob had been found dead in his hotel room. He was 65 at the time of his death.
