Darren and Julianne‘s first hour of the awards show started at 7pm ET and aired exclusively on Paramount+.
The two kicked off their hosting duties with a performance of singing and dancing, written by Darren, titled “Set The Stage.”
“I’ve always wanted to write a song for the @TheTonyAwards. oh and I also love writing big opening numbers for shows… Well, here we go 🤩!” Darren tweeted from rehearsals the day before.
