'RHOBH' Star Diana Jenkins Apologizes for 'Racially Insensitive' Comment

Diana Jenkins is apologizing for a “racially insensitive” comment she made.

On Thursday (June 16), the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie became embroiled in an Instagram feud with a Bravo fan account run by @philly.diva run by a Black woman named Kristen Dionne.

Kristen reposted a meme comparing an older photo of Diana with a screenshot from one of her confessionals on the show, with the caption: “My mind can’t comprehend that this is the same woman.”

Diana replied in the comments section, per Page Six, “That picture was actually taken At [sic] UCLA law school talking about war crimes in my country and setting up human rights clinic that [I] financed Before [sic] war criminals were brought to justice.”

“I was probably 20 or 30 Pounds skinnier and having glam was last thing on my mind,” she continued. “Also looks like picture is manipulated. But shame on you!!!! You and your bulls–t shopping!!!”

“Holy 💩 you had time today!! But the fact is…. both pics are you. However neither of them look alike! Welcome to the bravo-sphere!” Kristen wrote in response, adding that Diana should “keep that same energy with the rest of Instagram that thinks you have no storyline and should be fired. But shout out to my brand new page!”

Diana hit back by writing, “It can’t feel good being a Black content creator.”

Bravo fans quickly called her out for the remark, tagging Andy Cohen in the replies and demanding she be fired.

Diana clarified her comment the next day, explaining that she had woken up to a “screaming” phone call from her co-star Crystal Kung Minkoff, who was “demanding” to know what she meant.

“I assumed ‘Black content creator’ was a title referring to a page that would be focused on snarky content,” Diana said. “I copied the term because I thought that’s what it meant. I didn’t realize it was referencing to you as a Black woman and a content creator.”

She continued, “Please understand [I] am not from this country [Kristen] so deeply sorry. I’m devastated that this was taken to mean something racially insensitive. I understand now why it was taken that way and that was never my intention. I am truly sorry.”

Another RHOBH star recently apologized for her “insensitive” comments on the show.
