Faith Hill Reveals the Surprising Way She Prepped For Her Role in '1883'

Faith Hill went to surprising lengths to prepare for her role in 1883.

The 54-year-old actress, who plays Margaret Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel, shared that she was asked by the show’s creator not to shave her armpits while working in the series.

“That was really difficult, and Taylor [Sheridan] actually called my husband,” Faith told Courteney Cox in a recent installment of Variety‘s Actors on Actors series. “We were at a wedding, our nephew’s wedding, and he said, ‘Who’s gonna be the one to tell your wife that she has to stop shaving under her arms?’ And I’m thinking can this wait? He goes, ‘No, stop tonight.’”

“It really grossed me out, I have to say,” she added. “All due respect to those who love that, and all that freedom, woo!”
