Ryan Paevey Says He Got 'Very Lucky' Working With Ashley Williams on 'Two Tickets To Paradise'
“It’s a blast,” Ryan first said, saying that he and Ashley have been hoping to get to work together after first meeting at last year’s RomaDrama Live. “We were laughing a little bit like, ‘One of these days, man, they’re going to line us up in a film. It’s going to be rad.’”
Speaking of Ashley, Ryan added that she’s “super sweet…she’s more than just an actress. She directs and does all kinds of stuff like that as well. It’s really cool on one hand to work with somebody who’s really technically good at the job, like the boring stuff, you know, understanding what lenses and why the shot’s set up like this.”
“As boring as that stuff is, it’s necessary for what we do. If you don’t hit your marks, or you don’t know your words; there’s all these left-brain things that if you don’t do them well then the energy on set’s going to be weird,” he added, before saying that Ashley is “really, really good at that stuff.”
Ryan went on, adding that Ashley is “funny too. It was great. She’s just a good human.”
“I knew at the moment I met her when we did RomaDrama last year, I was going through some health stuff, she was really kind to me,” he recalled. “She’s just a really kind person, and she’s a great actress and she’s funny. We had a blast on set in a very pretty place. I was very lucky.”
