Ryan Paevey Did His Own Surfing For Hallmark's 'Two Tickets To Paradise'

“I wish the waves were a little bit bigger on the day that we taped, but it was still pretty cool that I got to do that in the film,” Ryan continued about getting in the water.

He revealed that at first production was a little cautious of him doing that himself – even though he’s an avid surfer.

“We spent a lot of time in the ocean, and I just was super excited that they were surfing in the film and that they were receptive to me doing it. Usually, they get a little squeamish about us doing activities in case we get hurt,” he explained.

However, “it was great that they were like, ‘No, no, no, no, no.’ I had to prove it to them basically. I went surfing with one of the producers and they kind of signed off and they were like, yeah, he’s pretty good. He’s not going to drown.”
