Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking Minors for Jeffrey Epstein

Ghislaine Maxwell has officially received her sentencing.

The 60-year-old had been convicted of five felony counts including sex trafficking of a minor. She was a long time co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced billionaire who was found dead in prison after being indited for the alleged sex trafficking of minor girls at his homes in New York and Florida.

Maxwell was given 20 years in prison and the maximum $750,000 fine for her crimes of recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Epstein. She could have received a maximum of 65 years. If she’s allowed to have “time served” added to her sentence, she could be out of prison by her late 70s, Deadline reports.

Epstein was found dead in prison.
