Joey Chestnut Puts Protestor in Chokehold During Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, Still Wins! (Video)

The protestor was wearing a Darth Vader mask and held a sign that read, “Expose Smithfield’s Deathstar.” He was seemingly protesting Smithfield Foods and the way factory farm animals are treated.

While security rushed to remove the man, Joey took matters into his own hands and placed the man in a chokehold.

Joey won his 15th title this year. He has won in every year since 2007, except for 2015 when Matt Stonie defeated him.

This year, Joey ate only 63 hot dogs and buns. Last year he broke his world record by eating 76!
