An Original 'Sex Education' Star Is Leaving the Netflix Show

Patricia Allison, who has played Ola since Season 1, will not be returning to the show.

Patricia made the announcement on UK radio show Breakfast With Yinka and Shayna Marie.

“I absolutely have loved being on Sex Education so, so much… but unfortunately, I won’t be joining the team for Season 4,” she said. “Some other opportunities have come up. I’ve been doing it for three years, and I’ve genuinely loved it.”

She added she was sad about the decision, adding, “I guess I have to say goodbye at some time, which is kind of sad, but other things are coming.”

Patricia’s character was introduced in season one as a potential love interest for Otis (Asa Butterfield). Her character eventually entered into a relationship with Lily (Tanya Reynolds). The show was renewed for a fourth season last year, but has not been given a debut date yet.
