Katie Holmes, Debra Messing & More Attend Opening of Christian Siriano's The Collective West Store

Christian Siriano is celebrating the opening of his new store with a star-studded event!

Katie Holmes and Debra Messing stepped out for the grand opening of the 36-year-old designer’s The Collective West store on Tuesday (July 12) in Westport, Conn.

Other stars in attendance included Ozark actress Laura Linney along with model Coco Rocha and her husband James Conran, their daughter Ioni, 7, and son Iver, 4.

“The opening of The Collective West is so exciting for me because I decided to follow my customer, which ultimately led me out of the city and into Westport. To be able to uplift and support the young artists featured in this store is something I’m really proud of because without retail, fashion wouldn’t exist,” Christian said of his new endeavor.

He added that taking out the buyer/wholesale element of the traditional department store business model, the artists will have more control by retaining a full retail margin, as well as creative freedom.

The store will feature various young designers and brands, all carefully curated by Christian, including Swoon Westport, Josh Levkoff Jewelry, Irene Lummertz Jewelry, Snif, Eny Parker, Bleusalt, Franny’s Farmacy, Bungalow’s Décor and Future Lovers of Tomorrow.

During the event, Debra took to Instagram to congratulate Christian on opening the new store.

“CONGRATULATIONS my dear love Christian Siriano on the opening of your gorgeous @thecollective.west in Westport CT!🎉 What beauty everywhere….your clothing, furnishings, and art, along with beautifully curated designs from a handful of primo designers. I’m endlessly amazed by your creativity & energy. Thank you for bringing so much beauty to the world. Love you.❤️” Debra wrote along with a few photos of she and Christian at the event.
