Adam Sandler to Star Alongside Idina Menzel & His Two Daughters in New Netflix YA Comedy

Adam Sandler is taking on a new role.

Deadline writes that the 55-year-old actor is set to star in a new young-adult comedy titled You Are SO Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah! at Netflix.

The outlet adds that Adam will be reuniting with his Uncut Gems co-star Idina Menzel for the movie, and will share the screen with some of his family members as well.

Adam‘s wife Jackie is set to appear in the film, as will their two daughters: Sadie, 16, and Sunny, 13.

Based on the the novel of the same name from author Fiona Rosenbloom, You Are SO Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah! follows a young girl who’s “bat mitzvah plans comedically unravel and threaten to ruin one of the most important events of her young life.”

Other cast members include SNL cast member Sarah Sherman, Luis Guzmán, Ido Mosseri, Samantha Lorraine, Dylan Hoffman, Dean Scott Vazquez, Miya Cech, Ivory Baker, Dylan Dash, Millie Thorpe and Zaara Kuttemperoor.
