Ricky Martin Allegedly Facing Incest Charges, Could Get Up to 50 Years in Prison

A new report revealed that the accuser is Ricky‘s 21-year-old nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, which makes this an incest case. This was revealed to Spanish news website Marca by the singer’s brother Eric Martin.

The report alleged that Dennis ended a seven-month relationship with Ricky and the singer “did not take it well, consistently reaching out to him and loitering outside his home,” according to Yahoo.

Dennis alleged that there was “physical and psychological abuse” during the relationship.

The case will reportedly be taken to court on July 21 and if he’s proven guilty, Ricky is facing up to 50 years in prison.

Ricky‘s team has previously denied the allegations and we will update this post if they issue a response to the latest developments.

“The allegations against Ricky Martin that lead to a protection order are completely false and fabricated,” his reps said previously. “We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.”
