Erika Jayne is Being Sued for $745,000 by Nicolas Cage's Ex Christina Fulton

Christina, 55, claims that Erika and the 83-year-old disgraced lawyer are responsible for breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract and legal malpractice, along with other complaints, according to court documents obtained by People.

Christina hired Tom‘s law firm Girardi Keese to represent her “in connection with claims based on severe injuries she sustained in an automobile accident on or about January 1, 2016.” The firm collapsed in 2020 shortly after there were claims that it stole money from clients. Tom then also filed for bankruptcy.

Additionally, her lawsuit claims she “was one of the firm’s clients who was unfortunately a victim of this fraud and theft.”

Christina also alleges that Erika‘s company EJ Global LLC – which is the single owner – “was created for the purpose of funneling money from Girardi Keese to benefit Erika.”

The court documents also allege that Tom and Erika were using EJ Global LLC to avoid paying taxes, and that Erika was aware of the scheme.

“Erika and Tom Girardi would deduct EJG´s expenses on their personal tax return,” the court documents state. “Girardi Keese would keep the money paid to Erika as a bogus receivable on its books and records. Erika clearly knew that for tax years 2011 to 2013, the FTB found that the entity was created as a tax avoidance entity.”

If you didn’t know, Christina started dating Nic, 58, in 1988 and they welcomed a son, Weston Cage, in 1990. They split shortly after their son’s birth.

Erika and Tom split in 2020 after 21 years of marriage. Shortly after, they were accused of embezzling money from his law firm to fund their lavish lifestyle. She has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and involvement in Tom‘s schemes.

Just recently, Erika claimed that she unable to pay over $2 million in California state taxes, which she allegedly owes from 2019.
