Lori Loughlin Makes First TV Appearance Since Scandal, Talks About Feeling 'Down & Broken'

Lori Loughlin has made her first non-acting TV appearance since being involved in the college admissions scandal.

The 57-year-old Full House actress appeared on the Lead with Love 3 broadcast on Los Angeles’ KTLA 5 to speak about her volunteer efforts with Project Angel Food.

After serving a two month jail sentence in 2020, Lori was ordered to complete 150 hours of community service after her release.

The special aired on the L.A.-based network on Saturday night (July 23), live from 7 to 9pm.

“It is a community, it is a family, and all the people that work here are so wonderful,” Lori said during her segment. “They have welcomed me with such open arms at a time when I was feeling particularly down and broken. That’s how I found a home here, and that’s what I feel like they did for me, and that’s why I’m so proud to be here and working with this organization, because they really do care. It’s really a community.”

Lori said the organization is “more than just feeding people. It’s about loving people and helping people. And I think that is so important, and I am so proud to be a part of Project Angel Food.”

Last month, Lori made her return to the red carpet.
