Suri Cruise Sings in Mom Katie Holmes' New Movie: 'She's Very, Very Talented'

Katie Holmes is gushing over daughter, Suri Cruise.

The 43-year-old actress revealed that Suri, 16, is singing a cover in her brand new movie, Alone Together.

In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Katie revealed that she sought out “the highest level of talent, so I asked her!”

Katie explains that she asked Suri to be part of the movie with the cover, which is featured in the film’s opening credits.

“She’s very, very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing,” she said, “That’s the way I direct in general: It’s like, ‘This is what I think we all want — go do your thing.’”

Katie also added that Suri sung in her other movie, Rare Objects: “She actually did sing in Rare Objects, which is the film we did last fall.”

Apart from being featured in Katie‘s movies, Suri is doing her thing in high school.

“Other than that, she’s a 16-year-old kid doing high school,” Katie added.
