Watch Billy Porter Give an Impromptu 'Dreamgirls' Performance for Jimmy Fallon! (Video)

Billy Porter is going back to his musical theatre roots!

The 52-year-old Emmy-winning and Tony-winning actor belted out a song from Dreamgirls during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (July 28) in New York City.

Billy was on the show to promote his directorial debut Anything’s Possible, which is now streaming on Prime Video.

During the interview, Jimmy said, “We always have a spare mic, just in case. Is there a song? What are you thinking, what are you feeling, what would you like to express?”

Billy then broke out into “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” which Jennifer Hudson sang in the movie version and Jennifer Holliday performed on Broadway.
