Selena Gomez In Talks for 'Working Girl' Remake as Producer, Unclear If She'd Star As Well!

Selena Gomez is being eyed for a huge new project!

The 30-year-old entertainer and actress is being eyed as a producer for a remake of the 1980s classic Working Girl. Variety is reporting that it’s unclear at this time if Selena would also star in the film. Ilana Pena is adapting the script, and the film would like debut on Hulu.

Working Girl first debuted in 1988 and starred Sigourney Weaver, Melanie Griffith and Harrison Ford.

The film follows “an ambitious 30-something Staten Island secretary who takes over office operations while her boss is recovering from a broken leg. But when the secretary pitches a winning idea, her boss attempts to take credit.”
