Harry Styles' Extended 'X Factor UK' Audition Released with Never Before Seen Footage - Watch Now!

Most fans saw Harry Styles audition on X Factor UK with his rendition of “Isn’t She Lovely,” but in the newly released extended audition, we see that actually wasn’t the first song he auditioned with!

The 28-year-old “Watermelon Sugar” singer was just 16 years old at the time of his audition and told the judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger about his job at a bakery before explaining why he chose to audition.

“Well, I’ve always wanted to audition but I’ve always been too young,” Harry explained. “So, I thought I’d give it a whirl this time…because my mums always told me I’m a good singer and so have my friends.”

When Simon said mom’s don’t normally know, Harry replied, “Yeah, that’s what I mean, so I wanted to come and ask from the people who know.”

Harry‘s first audition song that was previously unseen was “Hey Soul Sister” by Train. After singing a few verses of the song, Simon stops Harry and says, “I don’t know whether it’s the track that’s throwing you, but can I hear something just you, without any music?”

This is the point when Harry sings his a capella rendition of “Isn’t She Lovely,” by Stevie Wonder which is the part of the audition that has been out before. Harry receives a “no” from Louis, but a “yes” from Simon and Nicole, advancing him to the next round.

Harry has had more and more opportunities opening up, including a role as Thanos’ brother Eros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
