John Boyega Reveals Why Joining Marvel Isn't A Priority For Him
John Boyega is staying away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe…at least for the time being.
In his cover story for Men’s Health magazine, the 30-year-old actor revealed why he’s not interested in joining the mega movie franchise.

For John, Marvel just isn’t in his vision at the moment.
“That’s not in the vision for me now,” he shared. “I want to do nuanced things…I want to donate my services to original indie films that come with new, fresh ideas, because I know it’s real hard to top ‘Iron Man’ in that universe.”
John, who previously starred in the newest Star Wars franchise films as Finn, currently has three films coming out this year: Breaking on August 26, The Woman King on September 16 and They Cloned Tyrone, which has yet to have a release date.
