Elton John Visits the Cast of His New Musical, 'The Devil Wears Prada'

Elton John made a special appearance at a pre-Broadway performance of his new musical, The Devil Wears Prada!

The legendary singer-songwriter was joined by his husband David Furnish while attending a performance of the musical on Wednesday night (August 3) at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago, Ill.

Elton received a standing ovation from the audience when he entered the theater and he went backstage after the show to visit with the cast.

Also seen in the photos are lyricist Shaina Taub, book writer Kate Wetherhead, choreographer James Alsop, and producer Kevin McCollum. Elton wrote the music for the show and David is a producer.

The Devil Wears Prada will be running in Chicago through August 21 and a Broadway run is planned for the future. Check out the full cast for the show!
