Amanda Seyfried Says She Let Herself Be Uncomfortable on Set Wearing Just Underwear: 'I Wanted to Keep My Job'

Amanda Seyfried is sharing her regrets over the nude scenes she filmed when her career was just starting out.

The 36-year-old actress, who is currently filming The Crowded Room in NYC, spoke in a new interview with Porter magazine about taking part in the scenes, which looking back, she would not do today.

Amanda weighed in on the subject of intimacy coordinators being a staple on sets these days and it’s something she would have loved to have years ago.

“[I] wish I could be coming up now, in an era where intimacy coordinators are an on-set requirement and actors are in a better position to speak up,” Amanda told the magazine, before noting how she did wear next to nothing on some of her movies.

But there’s a reason why she did that too.

“Being 19, walking around without my underwear on – like, are you kidding me? How did I let that happen?” Amanda says. “Oh, I know why: I was 19 and I didn’t want to upset anybody, and I wanted to keep my job. That’s why.”
