Howard Stern Announces His Father, Ben Stern, Has Died at 99

Howard Stern has revealed that his father, Ben Stern, has sadly passed away.

The radio and TV personality shared the news about Ben‘s passing in an interview with Dan’s Papers. He was 99.

“I lost my father recently, he was 99 years old,” Howard had shared with the outlet, but did not share any details about his passing.

In the same interview, Howard also revealed his plans to honor his dad.

Howard revealed that to honor Ben, he’s planning to paint barns.

“Next up: Corwith Barns,” he explained of his project. “I’ve done a bunch of smaller paintings of the barns but this one is a larger size. The barns are no longer there but I photographed them many times, and I’m doing a big painting that hopefully captures every broken board on that fading structure.”

Howard added, “Not sure how old those barns were, but I feel like painting the barns is honoring him and all those growing older and then gone.

Ben was a recording engineer who contributed to some of Howard‘s projects.

Just recently, Howard revealed his plans to run for president.
