Taylor Swift's 'All Too Well' Short Film Is Eligible For Oscar Consideration

Taylor Swift could be in line for an Oscar nomination.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 32-year-old singer/songwriter’s “All Too Well” short film “received an Oscar-qualifying run”, which also means that it might be nominated for the upcoming 2023 Oscars ceremony.

Taylor wrote and directed the treatment and the video, which starred Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink.

THR adds that since “All Too Well” had a qualifying run, it’s eligible for the Best Live Action Short Oscar, and that Taylor is “working with a top consulting firm to guide its awards campaign.”

The short film screened at the AMC Lincoln Square for one week last fall, which excludes it from the Best Picture race, but works with the Best Live Action Short race. The eligibility window of which began on October 1, 2021 and runs through September 30.
