Bryce Dallas Howard Says Chris Pratt Pushed For Her To Get Paid More From 'Jurassic World' Merch

Bryce Dallas Howard is opening up about how Chris Pratt campaigned for her to get a bigger slice of the Jurassic World earnings.

In a new interview, the 41-year-old actress opened up about how she made a lot less for the three Jurassic World films than Chris, and that when he found out about the pay disparity, pushed for her to get a bigger pay day for the merchandise part of their deals.

Speaking to Insider, Bryce spoke about a recent report where it was revealed that there was a $2 million dollar pay gap between the stars.

However, she says that the gap was actually quite more.

“The reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports even said, so much less,” she shared. “When I started negotiating for Jurassic, it was 2014, and it was a different world, and I was at a great disadvantage. And, unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your deals are set.”

When word on the pay gap got to Chris though, Bryce says he pushed to ensure she got a bigger piece of the end cut when it came to other revenue streams from the trilogy.

“What I will say is that Chris and I have discussed it, and whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn’t been already negotiated, like a game or a ride, he literally told me: ‘You guys don’t even have to do anything. I’m gonna do all the negotiating. We’re gonna be paid the same, and you don’t have to think about this, Bryce,’” she explained.

Bryce added, “I love him so much for doing that. I really do, because I’ve been paid more for those kinds of things than I ever was for the movie.”
