David Tennant Teases His Return To Doctor Who For 60th Anniversary

David Tennant has a way of teasing Doctor Who fans.

The 51-year-old actor, who played Doctor #10 in the BBC series, was announced to return, alongside Catherine Tate, who played companion Donna Noble just a few months ago.

Not much as been said about the storyline, or how the two will return for the upcoming 60th anniversary.

However, David is revealing that fans – who might have seen some pics of them filming – haven’t seen everything.

During a panel at Fan Expo Boston over the past weekend, David opened up about his return.

“What I think is interesting about the fact that Catherine Tate and me may have been filming, you see, because we are slightingly unfortunate (or fortunate) in that we were filming some scenes that were in the public so it had to be admitted that we were in it,” he shared. “So most of what’s been filmed with other people has all been inside.”

David then teased that much more has been filmed indoors.

“There is lots more coming than people think, which is very exciting, and as far as I know, no-one has quite figured out yet what Catherine and I are doing there. I think there is a lot of theory, a lot of speculation, but I’m very excited for people to see the tiny little cog we are in Russell’s great machine.”
