Daniel Kaluuya on Not Returning for 'Black Panther 2': 'It's What's Best For the Story'

Daniel was forced to turn down a role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to appear in Jordan Peele‘s Nope.

“It’s what’s best for the story, what’s best for the film,” Daniel told Variety. “I’m excited for it. I’m excited to watch it.”

He also revealed that he’s seen the trailer.

“Of course, I’ve seen it!” he said. “It’s amazing.”

If you don’t remember, W’Kabi is the best friend and confidant of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman).

The second Black Panther film hits theaters on November 11.
