Laverne Cox Reacts to Being Mistaken for Beyonce at U.S. Open

Some fans thought they spotted Beyonce in the crowd at the 2022 U.S. Open, but it was actually actress Laverne Cox!

The 50-year-old four-time Emmy-nominated actress from Orange Is the New Black was sitting in the stands in an all-black outfit and a matching black face mask on Monday night (August 29) in New York City.

Laverne was at the match to cheer on Serena Williams, who is playing in her final U.S. Open ahead of her retirement from tennis.
