Anne Heche Did Not Have a Will, Son Requests to Be in Charge of Estate

There is an update about Anne Heche‘s estate.

Following the news of her death in August, it’s since been revealed that the star, who passed away at the age of 53, did not have a will, via court documents obtained by Us Weekly.

As a result, her oldest son Homer Laffoon, 20, filed paperwork to be put in charge of his late mother’s estate, who also named his 13-year-old brother, Atlas Heche Tupper.

Her income was listed as “unknown” in the paperwork.

“The Estate consists of two (2) intestate heirs—Homer Heche Laffoon and Atlas Heche Tupper. Homer Heche Laffoon is an adult and the proposed Administrator. Atlas Heche Tupper is a minor. Filed concurrently with this petition is a Petition for Appointment of Guardian ad Litem for the minor, which specifically requests that the guardian ad litem be granted the authority to waive bond on behalf of the minor.”

The actress, best known for her roles in Men in Trees and Donnie Brasco, was taken off of life support on August 14, two days after she was declared brain dead due to inhalation of smoke and thermal injuries obtained in her car accident.

Anne Heche‘s final resting place has been revealed on her death certificate.
