Ben Stiller & Sean Penn Among 25 Americans Who Have Been Permanently Banned from Russia

Ben Stiller and Sean Penn are among 25 Americans who are permanently banned from entering Russia.

The award-winning actors have joined a growing list of public figures who have been banned from the country amid their public support for Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion of the country, which has now lasted 194 days.

“The hostile actions of the American authorities, which continue to follow a Russophobic course, destroying bilateral ties and escalating confrontation between Russia and the United States, will continue to be resolutely rebuffed,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry said.

Some of the other people who were just added to the list include Senators Mark Kelly, Kevin Cramer, Michael Rounds, Krysten Sinema, Rick Scott, and Pat Toomey, as well as U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.

Russia’s “stop list” now included 1,073 names.

Sean traveled to Ukraine to film a documentary for Vice and he has also been vocal about his support for the country throughout the last year. Ben traveled to Ukraine in June as part of a UN Refugee Agency trip.
