Beanie Feldstein Books First Movie Role Following 'Funny Girl' Exit

Beanie Feldstein is heading back to the big screen.

Just weeks after the announcement she was leaving Broadway’s Funny Girl earlier than expected, the 29-year-old actress has joined Ethan Coen‘s directorial debut.

Beanie will star opposite Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan in the still untitled movie.

According to The Wrap, no details about the movie have been released.

Ethan is set to produce and write the screenplay with his wife, Tricia Cooke. Robert Graf and Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will also produce the pic.

Beanie‘s exit from Funny Girl was filled with a lot of drama, as Lea Michele took over the role as Fanny Brice.
