Anthony Mackie's 'Captain America' Movie Gets Four New Cast Members, Including One Person New to the MCU!

Anthony Mackie will be playing the title character in the upcoming Marvel movie Captain America: New World Order and the supporting cast was just revealed!

The 43-year-old actor’s character Sam Wilson became the new Captain America at the end of the recent Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and now he’s going to lead his own feature film.

The new Captain America movie is going to be directed by The Cloverfield Paradox‘s Julius Onah with Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman writing the script with Dalan Musson, who also worked on the series.

The movie is being released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

During the Marvel panel at D23, it was confirmed that three former Marvel stars will reprise their roles in the movie and one new actor is being added to the MCU.
