Disney+ Releases First 'The Santa Clauses' Trailer Starring Tim Allen at D23 - Watch Now!

The first trailer for The Santa Clauses has been released!

Tim Allen and his young new co-star Elizabeth Allen-Dick debuted the first footage for their upcoming Disney+ series at the 2022 D23 Expo on Saturday (September 10) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The upcoming sequel series picks up as Scott Calvin (Allen) is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole.

With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

While on stage, Tim explained why he decided to reprise his role as Santa in the new series.

“You people made me,” Tim said, via ET Canada. “We thought about this for a long time. The only way I would do this is if [they] answer some of the background. They answer the questions. I said yes.”

The first two episodes of The Santa Clauses will premiere on Disney+ on November 16.
