Zendaya Makes History Again with Second Lead Actress Win at Emmys 2022

Zendaya is making Emmys history AGAIN!

The 26-year-old actress won her second Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Euphoria at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 12) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

“Thank you for making such a safe space to make this very difficult show. I love you all so much,” said Zendaya. “Thank you to the Academy, thank you to my friends and family, some of which are here tonight. Thank you to Sam [Levinson] for sharing Rue with me. Thank you for believing in me, even in moments where I didn’t believe in myself.”

Zendaya‘s win at the awards show is history making, as she is the youngest Lead Actress two-time winner.

She also won the same award back in 2020 for season one of Euphoria, and she made history then as the youngest winner.

Zendaya also has a chance to win Outstanding Drama Series as a producer on Euphoria, and she could make history again then as the youngest female producer.
