Quinta Brunson Gets Apology From Jimmy Kimmel After Crashing Her Emmy Win Speech

Jimmy Kimmel has issued a full apology to Quinta Brunson for overstaying his welcome on stage at the 2022 Emmy Awards earlier in the week.

After Quinta picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Writing for Abbott Elementary, Jimmy infamously lied down on the stage and didn’t leave during her entire acceptance speech.

The moment is still spurring backlash among fans, and even her co-stars, and now, Quinta has gotten an apology from him.

Jimmy noted that he saw fans calling him out, saying that he stole her moment.

“Maybe I did and I’m very sorry if I did do that. I’m sorry I did do that actually and also the last thing I would ever want to do is upset you because I think so much of you,” he told her.

Quinta did accept Jimmy‘s apology.
