Sharon Osbourne Looks Back at Her Firing from 'The Talk,' Says It Was 'Unfair'

Sharon Osbourne is once again addressing her firing from The Talk.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends Weekends on Sunday (September 25), the 69-year-old TV personality looked back at being fired from the CBS daytime talk show in March 2021 after she got into a heated argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood about her support of Piers Morgan regarding his remarks about Meghan Markle.

“I’ve worked in this industry for 50 years, actually, 55,” Sharon said. “I didn’t want that to be the end of my career, and I thought it was unfair.”

During their heated argument, Sheryl called Piers‘ comments about Meghan to be “racist.”

“[Piers] is not racist. I’m not racist,” Sharon explained on Fox & Friends Weekends. “But because he said something about somebody who is mixed race, is that the right word? He’s deemed racist and that’s not fair.”

When asked if she thought the Piers discussion was an “ambush,” Sharon responded, “Of course it was. Why would you advertise that we’re talking about this, that and the other and suddenly it’s 20 minutes of me?”

Also during her appearance, a clip from Sharon‘s upcoming new four-part Fox Nation docuseries To Hell & Back, which further detailed her exit from The Talk, was shown.

“I was this lamb that was slaughtered that morning, and CBS denied responsibility on the news,” Sharon argued in the clip. “That’s because they’re wankers and a–holes.”

Former The Talk hosts Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini later accused Sharon of making insensitive comments behind the scenes.
