Simu Liu Confirms He's Going Through Breakup, Fans Speculate It's with Jade Bender

During the Q&A, Simu was asked about his mental health.

“I’m OK, I’m OK,” Simu answered during a recent on-stage interview at a tech conference. “I’m learning to prioritize myself, I’m becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of therapy and support systems. … It really just hit me recently just how burnt out I was. I experienced moments where I’m living my dream and it didn’t quite feel like I was where I needed to be with myself.”

He then added, “I’m also going through a breakup. That’s probably also contributing to it but that’s OK, I’ll be OK.” After he mentioned the breakup, the audience reportedly responded with “awws.”

Fans believed Simu was speaking about his rumored relationship with Jade Bender. Simu and Jade were first linked when they were spotted out for dinner with a group of friends back in June. For those who don’t know, she is best known for her work in the Netflix movie Senior Year, which is currently available on the streaming service.
