Fourth 'Star Trek' Franchise Movie With Chris Pine & Zoe Saldana Removed From Release Schedule
There’s a big update about the anticipated fourth movie to Star Trek.
First announced in February, J.J. Abrams revealed that all the original stars would be returning for the film as the universe expanded even more. Star Chris Pine then revealed he was surprised by the news, seeing as there was no script sent to him.
Now, in a turn of events, it seems the sequel has been taken off the release schedule for Paramount.

According to Deadline, as director Matt Shakman has exited the project, the studio has temporarily removed the pic from the release schedule.
The movie’s script comes from the franchise’s first female writers, Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and was set to hit theaters in December next year. The search for a new director is now happening.
Chris, along with Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and Simon Pegg are still attached to the fourthquel.
