Will General Ross Role Be Recast in 'Thunderbolts'? One Big Star Rumored!

According to insiders, Harrison Ford is one of the names being passed around as a possible new General Ross.

Film critics and columnist Jeff Sneider claims that the Indiana Jones star is the top choice to play General Ross in Thunderbolts.

“BREAKING via THE HOT MIC podcast: Though Marvel insiders DENY he has been cast in the movie at this time, multiple sources indicate that HARRISON FORD either is or was the studio’s top choice to star in THUNDERBOLTS as the General himself. It’s unclear if he already passed,” he wrote.

The studio reportedly considered making his involvement in the project known at D23, but didn’t want to overshadow his appearance for Indiana Jones 5, via CBR.

The outlet reports that there is speculation that Thunderbolts might reveal that Ross had died, with the team named in his honor.

William Hurt played the General in The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Widow.
