'Chicago Fire' Kills Off [SPOILER] & Fans Are Not Happy - See The Reactions!

Paramedic Chief Evan Hawkins, portrayed by Jimmy Nicholas, was sadly killed off the show in the final moments.
Here’s a recap of what happened: Firehouse 51 is called to a structure fire at a movie theater, and as first responders arrive on scene to help, Hawkins does as well, and takes over directing triage.
From there, many are called in for assistance to rescue those trapped, Hawkins notices a man collapsing out a side door. In an unexpected moment, the building collapses on him and the victim.
The firefighters immediately rush to dig them out, and Violet, Evan’s girlfriend and co-worker, can only watch as they finally reach Hawkins.
While insisting she can save him, they have to pull her back because he’s already gone.

#ChicagoFire writers just showed once again they hate their job because why would they KILL Hawkins off (!!) if they cared about it.
Can't believe they genuinely thought it was a good idea. ποΈποΈ— ROBY β¨β¨ (@RobertaCookie) October 6, 2022

I don't even watch #ChicagoFire/#ChicagoPD & even I know #Hawkami & #Upstead got done dirty. Showrunners for procedurals like this need to understand why/how fans are invested & how to use that to navigate future seasons & avoid plots that make viewers want to stop watching π pic.twitter.com/YVvNGv1PLl

Why would y'all write that to happen to Chief Hawkins when him and Violet just got back on track? Why do y'all keep doing this to us, the viewers? #ChicagoFire @NBCOneChicago
