Brendan was talking about the new movie, saying it follows “two fellas who fall out because one of them is a little too needy.”

“I mean, I love Colin to bits, but the story’s not too far from the truth,” Brendan added as Colin, 46, came out on stage while wearing a fake mustache.

Colin said he was “just passing” before jokingly adding that he “was on the way from the mustache shop.”

He then said that he had a question to ask Brendan: “So, who’s your most favorite costar you’ve ever worked with?”

“Paddington Bear,” Brendan answered.

Obviously upset by the answer, Colin then got more specific, asking, “Who’s your favorite human costar who’s Irish and he’s about 46 and his name begins with a C?”

“Cillian Murphy,” Brendan responded.

The Banshees of Inisherin will be out in theaters on October 21 – watch the trailer here!
