Victoria Beckham Talks About Spice Girls' LGBTQ+ Fanbase: 'They Mean So Much'

Victoria Beckham gives off Cinderella vibes while out and about in New York City on Wednesday (October 12).

The 48-year-old fashion designer paired her pale blue silk dress with a pair of sparkling mesh boots as she headed to a business meeting.

Victoria‘s husband, David Beckham, was also spotted in similar color with a double denim outfit as he arrived at their hotel following a meeting of his own.

According to Them., during Victoria‘s meeting, she opened up about the Spice Girls and the band’s devoted LGBTQ+ following, which became her own as well.

“Quite often, young boys come up to me on the street and say, ‘You made it okay for me to come out and not hide anymore, and really celebrate and be who I was scared to be,” she shared. “That means so much.”

Victoria went on, “I think that the Spice Girls did empower both girls and boys all around the world [to] accept who they are, accept that they were a little bit different.”

“We were all different. Individually, none of us were really that great. But collectively we worked and people could relate to one of us. We were all underdogs in our own little ways. And together we worked and we celebrated that.”

Just the night before, Victoria and David were spotted holding hands while heading out for a dinner date in sharp outfits.
