Britney Spears Deactivates Her Instagram Account Again After Calling Out Family

Britney Spears is once again taking some time away from social media.

The 40-year-old pop icon deactivated her Instagram account as of Thursday (October 13), with her page no longer being available to view.

This isn’t the first time she’s stepped away from social media: she has deactivated several times in the past, including back in March.

The move also comes after she posted a string of posts, calling out her family’s treatment during her conservatorship of nearly 15 years – specifically her father Jamie Spears.

“My dad always told me I was fat so! never felt pretty or good enough and I think the thing that made me feel the UGLIEST was the FEAR in being scared of what he would do… I looked uneasy, unattractive, not in my skin,” she confessed.

She then went in further on her father, saying he treated her “less than a f–king dog,” and declaring: “I pray you burn in hell you sorry son of a b–h !!!”
