Russell Crowe Denies Julia Roberts Story Told By 'My Best Friend's Wedding' Director

Russell Crowe is speaking out to deny a story about him from over eight months ago.

Back in February 2022, quotes from My Best Friend’s Wedding director P.J. Hogan spread online through an excerpt from the book “From Hollywood With Love.”

In the story, P.J. revealed what allegedly happened between Russell and Julia Roberts when the actor was reportedly auditioning for the movie My Best Friend’s Wedding.

P.J. was looking for an actor to play the role of the best friend and Julia had casting approval, so he says that he set up a table read for Russell.
