Kanye West Hires Johnny Depp's Lawyer From Battle With Amber Heard to Manage Business Ventures (Report)

Kanye West and Johnny Depp are about to have one thing in common – a lawyer.

According to a new report from TMZ, the 45-year-old rapper has brought on the 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s lawyer Camille Vasquez to manage his business affairs.

Camille will reportedly be working with Brown Rudnick firm. She famously represented Johnny in his highly publicized legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year. Both partners were found liable for defamation during the trial; however, Amber stood to pay a markedly higher price to her estranged ex.

The news comes after Kanye lost a major brand deal in the wake of a flurry of anti-Semitic statements. He also faces a lawsuit from the family of George Floyd after making comments about his death.

TMZ noted that Camille would reportedly help him manage his various deals in the aftermath of his statements.
