Marlon Wayans Reveals If He Thinks 'White Girls' Would Succeed in 2022

Marlon Wayans is looking back at his 2004 movie White Chicks.

The movie centered on the 50-year-old and his brother Shawn Wayans as FBI agents who pretend to be the young white vapid socialites that they have been assigned to protect from a potential kidnapping.

In a new interview, Marlon aired out his frustrations with cancel-culture after being asked if he thinks White Chicks would be released in 2022.

“I think they’re needed. I don’t know what planet we’re on, where you think people don’t need laughter, and that people need to be censored and canceled,” Marlon shared with BuzzFeed. “If a joke is gonna get me canceled, thank you for doing me that favor. It’s sad that society is in this place where we can’t laugh anymore.”

He continued, “I ain’t listening to this damn generation. I ain’t listening to these folks: these scared-ass people, these scared executives.”

In an interview from last year, Marlon shared his thoughts on a possible White Chicks sequel.
